Started as a heartfelt initiative by Christine Keller in 2020, Sew On aims to create a supportive and inclusive community for people with periods, with a focus toward sustainable menstrual care. With its heart in Dunedin, New Zealand, Sew On is dedicated to fostering independence from period poverty and empowering people with the freedom of choice, education, and community, all around the world. Feel free to use and share the information here as you please!

Recently Christine has talked about Sew On on RNZ, the National Radio program.  You can listen to the whole podcast below or listen here

It starts with you, making your own, for your own!

By making your own pads, you’re joining a growing movement of individuals taking control of their health and environmental impact. Each stitch is a step toward independence from plastic-laden, mass-produced products, and a more empowered, eco-friendly future.

Share the knowledge of sustainable period care far and wide and help sew a beautiful future for you, yours, and the environment!

Our Pads: An Open-Source of Knowledge

We proudly use Luna Wolf’s open-source patterns, generously donated for everyone to use, as they align with our mission of accessibility and sustainability.

Our pads are available for heavy and medium flow, while liners can be customized for light flow (with PUL) or no flow (without PUL).

Thanks to passionate individuals like you, Sew On has flourished into a vibrant community united by values of freedom, knowledge, growth, and care for both our bodies and the environment. To continue this momentum, we need your support!

Shared values, shared goals!

At SewOn, we are proud to contribute to several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) through our mission of promoting sustainable and reusable menstrual products.
